The best thing about JLM engine oil is the way it protects the engine. Due to the high viscosity of JLM motor oil, it adheres very well to rotating and moving parts, which in turn ensures that these parts do not wear out so quickly.
Less wear and less fuel consumption
The next big advantage of a high viscosity is the fuel consumption. Thanks to the excellent adhesion properties, the oil film can be kept extremely thin. The carefully selected additives ensure high lubrication, so that there is hardly any resistance between the parts and the oil. The engine can run smoothly, keeping fuel consumption low.
The lubricating oil film prevents rotating metal parts in the engine from coming into direct contact with each other, helping to prevent wear. Optimum viscosity means the oil can be kept thin, which in turn reduces drag when starting a cold engine.
