Does the Petrol Pre-Test Emissions Treatment clean catalytic converters?
Catalytic converters convert harmful gases but they do not filter and as such cannot be cleaned with additives. JLM maintains that additives improve fuel and exhaust system performance, but do not clean catalytic converters.
Can JLM additives clean oxygen sensors?
Oxygen sensors may be cleaned using Brake Cleaner though carbon buildup can be persistent. Replacement is often recommended.
Can Petrol Extreme Cleaner be used in a 2-stroke moped?
JLM additives are not designed for 2-stroke engines. While possible, it’s not recommended.
Does the GPF Cleaner also clean injectors?
We recommend using Injector Cleaner for port injection and Performance Fuel System Cleaner for direct injection systems.
Does the Injector Cleaner help prevent Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI)?
Cleaner combustion chambers may help prevent LSPI, but additives alone cannot fully control LSPI, as it has multiple causes.
Is JLM E10 Fuel Treatment suitable for classic motorbikes?
